Smoothing for volume and frizz

Hair carrying more volume and frizz than the client wants, with a lifted cuticle that will not settle, is what a straightening service is built to bring down without stripping movement.

Volume that will not drop

Hair holds shape and width even after a blow dry, rather than falling smooth and close.

Cuticle lifted, frizzy

The surface catches humidity and frizzes rather than lying flat.

Wants less volume, same hair

The aim is calmer, flatter movement without losing the hair's own colour or condition.

Which professional service is right, Rebonding or Reactive Pro?
It depends on the hair, not preference. Rebonding is built for chemically resistant hair and irons up to 230 degrees Celsius. Reactive Pro carries a violet pigment against yellowing and caps the iron at 190 degrees, which is what blonde, highlighted or sensitised hair can safely take.
Will the home care range work on coloured or bleached hair?
Yes. Nothing on the Reactive Pro Home Care labels restricts use on coloured or bleached hair, even though the professional Reactive Pro salon protocol is calibrated specifically for blonde and sensitised hair.
Does the mask replace the conditioner that week?
No. The mask is an addition to the routine, applied after shampooing, and the conditioner still follows it to close the wash. Neither product substitutes the other.
Are the professional formulas formaldehyde free?
Yes. Rebonding Shampoo, Keraplex, Reactive Pro Shampoo and Smooth Therapy all carry the Formaldehyde Free seal and V-Label vegan certification on the label.
Can the two steps of a salon service be reordered or skipped?
No. Both protocols run shampoo first to prepare the fibre, then the realigning treatment, dried and ironed. Skipping the shampoo or changing the order is not how either label describes the service.
