Why does Prime D-Tox come before the shampoo, not after?
It is a chelating step that lifts metal ions and hard water residue first, so the shampoo and Moisture Infusion that follow are not working against mineral build-up.
Can Prime D-Tox be sold as its own service?
Yes. It also works as a standalone pre-colour or pre-chemical detox, a useful argument in a hard water city like London.
Which step is the only one left in the hair?
The Balm. Prime D-Tox, the Shampoo and Moisture Infusion are all rinsed out before it goes on.
Does Hydraluxe carry a vegan or sulphate free claim?
No. None of the four products carry a V-Label vegan seal, and the Shampoo lists Sodium Laureth Sulfate.
