Can S.P.R. be used on coloured or bleached hair?
Yes. Nothing on the S.P.R. labels restricts use on coloured or bleached hair. The line is built for fibre that has lost cohesion from chemical history in general.
Do I need all four home care products?
No. Shampoo and conditioner are the everyday basis of the routine. The mask and the Power Dose ampoule are both optional weekly boosters, an either or choice depending on the week, not additions on top of each other.
What happens in the salon version of S.P.R.?
A four step protocol: Shampoo, then Protein Infusion and Seal & Protect applied one over the other without rinsing between them, then Acidic Closure at pH 3.5 to finish. Mask Therapy suits a visit with no time for the full protocol; Stabilizer supports other chemical services.
Is S.P.R. vegan or formaldehyde free?
Only Mask Therapy in this line carries the V-Label vegan certification. The four S.P.R. protocol products and the four home care products do not carry a vegan or formaldehyde free seal, and the shampoos are not sulphate free.
