Mask: the weekly deep step

Four of the five masks here are home care: a weekly, deeper step for hair that needs more than the daily shampoo and conditioner. The fifth, Mask Therapy, is a professional, standalone service.

Role

A deeper weekly dose than the daily shampoo and conditioner give alone.

Timing

Around 10 to 15 minutes, applied to clean, damp hair, then rinsed thoroughly.

Available as

Four home care masks, one per line, plus the professional Mask Therapy.

How to use a mask

Step 1

After shampooing

Applied to clean, damp lengths and ends, once the shampoo is rinsed out.

Step 2

Around 10 to 15 minutes

Left to process, then rinsed thoroughly.

Step 3

How often should I use a mask?
The four home care masks are weekly steps, not for daily use. Mask Therapy is a professional, in-chair service, used whenever there are ten minutes and no time for a full protocol.
Does the mask replace my conditioner?
No, not for the four home care masks: the conditioner still closes the wash, even the week the mask is used. Some lines also sell a Power Dose ampoule, which does replace both, on the week it is used instead of the mask.
Is Mask Therapy a step of a numbered protocol?
No. It is a standalone professional treatment, for a quick reconstructive service when there is no time for the full four-step S.P.R. protocol.

Weekly at home, or a quick service in the chair

Salons can apply for a professional account for Mask Therapy; the four home care masks suit any weekly routine.
